Growing up in New England, I had the good fortune to live in quintessential colonial era homes with historic details throughout; from the wide plank, rough hewn floors, and the stone hearth fireplaces in every room, to the extroverted squirrels and mice whose families had been occupying the spaces for far longer than my own. Instead of paying off law school loans, my parents bought another old colonial in coastal Maine with a plumbing system consisting of a hand dug well connected to a hose running through the kitchen window. From early on, I was deeply in love with old houses.

Ten years ago, I found myself in Philadelphia as a career in restaurant management brought me to this burgeoning food scene. If there is one thing Philadelphia has in spades (in truth there are many!), it is beautiful, old homes. Later, while chasing a rock and roll dream, I found myself working long days moving furniture, first for Mambo Movers, and then at Old City Movers. Brutal though the job was, I spent years learning every in and out of this city and its houses. From South Philly grandma-specials, historic Society Hill trinities, and Delancey Street mansions to penthouse condos in the sky, I’ve seen them all. During that time, I also witnessed the ebb and flow of this city's real estate market. Helping young couples move into their first home, then seeing them again as they transition to something larger in the ‘burbs, all the way to the empty-nesters looking to downsize and move back in to enjoy the fruits of the city.

Though I took a circuitous route to my life as a Philly Home Girl (er...guy!), I am so happy to have landed here. Being a Realtor combines my greatest passions of helping people, architecture and design, and the wonderful city of Philadelphia. I look forward to helping you find your own beautiful, old home rife with historical details!

When I’m not scouring the city for the coolest houses, you’ll find me out in the Wissahickon with my wife and our hunting dog, Luke, making sourdough pizzas in my backyard oven in Port Richmond, or tucked away in one of this city’s amazing restaurants (The Lunar Inn, Good King Tavern, The Khyber, Nomad… there's too many!) with good friends and family.
