After spending time on the road and visiting several different cities, I had the opportunity to perform in the oldest opera house in the United States, Philadelphia’s The Academy of Music. It was during my stay in Center City that I knew I would someday call Philly home. Cut to two years later after my fiance got a promising job opportunity here, and I jumped at the chance to finally make the move. Life in Philly has been the perfect balance between my love of the outdoors, rooted in my native home of California, to the bustling city vibes I grew to love while living in Brooklyn, NY.
My own home buying experience led me to become an agent. It was never lost on me that my agent was the reason our transaction went so smoothly. She was able to answer all my questions while giving me the support I needed to make my own decisions about buying a home. I realized I wanted to create that experience for others. I understand that buying a home is scary but also recognize from first-hand experience that if you have the right support team behind you, it doesn't need to be so intimidating. In fact, it can be a lot of fun and something you should be proud of doing. I’m committed to being that support system for all my clients, be it future buyers, sellers, or investors.
Moving from Brooklyn with my fiancé Alex and miniature Bernedoodle, Olive, I am grateful for the welcome into the City of Brotherly Love. Philly has so much to offer between its world-class museums, James Beard awarded chefs (Vedge being one of my favorites!), and its unique cultural and historical landmarks. When not house hunting with clients you’ll find me walking the Rail Park or sweatin’ it out in a yoga class or a group fitness class. My past life as a professional dancer means I have to keep moving. My fiance and I recently started taking ballroom lessons at Society Hill Dance Academy, where you’ll find us practicing the cha-cha and the rhumba!
Whether you’re new to this town and need to date a few neighborhoods, or you’ve been in a committed relationship with the city and need a little spark to reignite your Philly love, I’m here for you! I look forward to building lasting relationships centered on trust and support. Let’s explore and start this journey together!
Very professional and truly went above and beyond to make the process of selling our home a stress free and well coordinated process.
Melissa listened well, found great listings to look at, bargained tenaciously in the bid process, and guided me through the inspection and purchase process in an efficient and empowering way.
She fought tooth and nail for us, and it showed when she helped us beat out SIX offers on our dream home.
As first-time home buyers, she guided us through what was feasible for our budget, connecting us with a lender, what to look for in a property, making a reasonable offer, and going through the inspection and closing process.
I can't stress how thorough and detailed Melissa is with her walkthroughs - her knowledge and tips about the surrounding areas are also a huge help and bonus (esp. being new to the area).
Throughout the whole process she kept us informed, checked in to make sure we were happy and always had such a positive attitude!
Melissa made it a breeze and was always available to answer questions, talk through scenarios, and was super organized through everything!
She works with a terrific team (the Philly Home Girls) who are all very friendly and helpful, as well as able to help out each other when needed.
Their natural congeniality and availability to our needs and questions made a daunting process manageable. Our property sold right away and we are happy customers.
So professional and yet tenacious in getting to the endgame successfully. I would recommend her and her team without reservation!
She fought hard to negotiate some amazing deals for me - I am so grateful for her help and dedication!
She answered our every question even small repetitive questions. I would definitely recommend Melissa if you need an agent.
It was a wonderful experience! Melissa is so patient and so kind.
Once my offer was made, Melissa and the entire Philly Home Girls team made getting to closing as straightforward as possible.
My Fiancé and I moved to Philly from out of state and Melissa LeGaspi went above and beyond in every way possible to find us the perfect home.
Melissa LeGaspi's knowledge of the market, real estate acumen, and overall professionalism led us to a great result, which meant achieving our financial target. In fact, because of her, we exceeded our expectations.
She was flexible with getting us into many viewings in many different neighborhoods, often on short notice. She was very easy to talk to and we felt like she really understood us and what we were looking for.
In the end, we went with a home that was nothing like what we had originally described and yet Melissa was endlessly supportive and happy to deviate/change courses at any given moment.
Philly Home Girls and Melissa LeGaspi are the absolute best!! The home buying process was frustrating but Melissa and her team were so helpful throughout it all.
She found the perfect new home for me and I closed last week. I can't recommend her highly enough! The whole crew there was wonderful I could not have done it without them.
We initially reached out to Philly Home Girls last spring while looking for a new place to rent. Melissa took the time to learn exactly what we were looking for and encouraged us to consider purchasing a home instead. After reviewing the rental and buying market, we realized she was right and shifted our focus to buying our first home.
Melissa was wonderful! Bright and encouraging, but so knowledgeable, professional, and patient.
