As a first time homebuyer, and new(ish) to Philly, I was a bit stressed to jump into the home buying process, but from our first conversation, I knew she would have my best interest in mind and I would be able to relax and just enjoy house hunting / buying. In searching for a home, I initially had a vague idea of what I was looking for, but she listened and observed my reactions to the various homes we looked at and was able to hone in on the features I was most interested in. I never felt pressure to put in an offer, but rather always felt she wanted me to find a house I was confident and happy with!
After finding a place, she really advocated for me during the back-and-forth of the negotiation, and once going under contract she always made sure I was up-to-date on next steps and aware of upcoming deadlines. Now, having gone through the process, I would say the important thing is to find an agent that will advocate for you and that you can be confident has your your best interest in mind.
